FALLON, Nev. (AP) - A Fallon man has pleaded no contest to charges of fondling a 10-year-old girl. Robert Leroy Baker, 59, could face one to six years in prison when sentenced March 10 by District Judge Leon Aberasturi. Probation may be an option if an evaluation determines he is a low risk to re-offend. He entered his plea Tuesday. An initial criminal complaint charged Baker with fondling the girl on three separate occasions in January 2007. Authorities say under a plea agreement, Baker, a former parks worker for the city of Fallon, will be required to register as a sex offender.
